Kaelyn has been talking about running for Student Council President ever since Cameron won last year. These last couple of weeks Marc has been putting together posters and stickers for Kaelyn to hand out. There were some good kids running so we knew this was going to be a hard battle. Monday was ELECTION DAY.. she had to give her speech in front of the student body. Kaelyn did a great job!! We were so PROUD of her. The results were to be announced at 3pm that afternoon. Marc and I were there in the office for the announcement. Cameron gave us the nod that she didn't win. I was ok with it. Within just a few seconds the Student Council was on the intercom announces the winners. It came to Cameron to announce the new President and.... Kaelyn Washburn is the NEW 2009-2010 Student Council President!!!!!
Your kids are so great. Congrats on all that you are doing to raise them. You are doing a great job, so with this month being about moms pat yourself on the back. You deserve it. We love your family.
