Happy Father's Day....a little late

I know I am a little late in wishing Marc a Happy Father's Day. A little, but certainly NOT forgotten. I have to say there was no breakfast in bed this year though. I guess that is what comes with a growing family... we sleep in a little too late for breakfast in bed. We did, however, take Marc along with my dad to Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
Thanks Marc for being the dad that you are!!!! I hope our girls' marry guys just like you :)

Pearly Whites

After 13 months of torture Cameron got his braces off yesterday!!! I could not believe the day had come. He was so funny... smiling the entire day. Cameron was starving by the end of the appointment. He didn't want to eat lunch and take the chance of having any food in his braces when he went to get them off. The appointment took a little longer than what we had expected but the result was well worth the wait!!!! The assistant told Cameron he was way too young to have them off....I think I may agree. Now, all the girls will be after this good looking smile. Stay away girls!!!!!
Cameron traded in all his wooden nickels for a $10 gift card to iTunes. They also gave him a bag of candy he shouldn't have been eating. I think it was half gone at the end of our 15 min. car ride home :)

Memorial Day Weekend in Mexico

This was our 3rd going down to Rocky Point for Memorial Day weekend. Although, this year I was a bit more nervous with all the things that have been happening ie; immigration law passed, travel warnings and parents trying to talk us out of going..... Once we got down there I quickly realized everything would be just fine. The waves were not as high and fun as they have been in years past. We did, however, have fun riding the whale boat and renting jet skies this year. It is a great time to spend with some good friends. The kids have already made comments on how much they miss Mexico already. I am ready to go back!!!!!

Birthday Fairy Finds Us

Marc and I started this little tradition a few years ago. Now, we are wondering why!!! I will say over the years our kids have enjoyed the "birthday fairy" coming to visit. The night before their birthday while they are asleep a fairy will come in and decorate their room with streamers. When the birthday child wakes in the morning they find their room all decorated.
Marc and I kept telling Emersyn we weren't sure if the "birthday fairy" would find her in Mexico. Well, as you can see the "birthday fairy" found her!!!!!

Last Day of School

Ellie finished her 3rd grade year with Mrs Wesley while Emersyn finished her 1st grade year with Ms Cuttone. I tried to get a picture of Kaelyn with Mrs Cummard, but there were too many tears for a picture. As a matter of fact, Kaelyn wanted me to go and chose to walk home. Kaelyn is very tender when it comes to saying good-bye. Although, she will see many of her friends next year at Desert Ridge Jr there are those few who are moving. It was a great school year!!!

Birthday Fun @ Build A Bear

Emersyn invited a few friends to Build A Bear for her birthday party. It was a good time!!!

Happy Birthday Emersyn

On May 30 Emersyn celebrated her 7th birthday while our family was down in Rocky Point Mexico. We had a pinata for all the kids to hit and have fun with.
Emersyn is such a sweet girl. We absolutely LOVE having her in our family. She was our biggest baby born weighing 7lbs. 13oz. We were all shocked at how much she weighed being that all my other kids were in the 6lb range. Funny, that she weighed the most then because to look at her now you would never know it. She is the tiniest little thing. Will there be a day we won't have to adjust the waist in her pants to go smaller? She has a smile that will melt you.
Emersyn, we hope you had a great birthday :)
