Christmas Eve Showdown
Last Christmas someone got a nerf gun which then led to a gun fight. Mari thought it would be fun to get everyone a nerf gun.... It really was a great idea....

Getting Down with Mama Goose
Emersyn had her school program last night. We always enjoy seeing that our kids have been learning. Teachers do a great job helping them learn :) After attending lunch with Ellie yesterday it has become very apparent that I am not made to be a teacher. I love our kids teachers and thank them dearly for the time they spend with our children at school. We have had some great teachers through the years :)

Birthday Fairy Strikes Again!!!!
So every time there is a birthday in our house they are visited by the "Birthday Fairy". The Birthday Fairy comes the night before their birthday and decorates their bedroom with streamers. When they wake up in the morning they know it's their special day. Ellie's birthday was Sat the 12th. She had a few friends over to watch a movie in the backyard while eating pizza and smores. It was a great night other than we had to watch the movie indoors. The rain a few days before had made our backyard too wet to go out. Happy Birthday Ellie!!!!
Something amazing that doesn't happen to everyone..... Ellie will turn 12 on 12/12/2012!!!! Isn't that fun :)

Rattler Basketball
Cameron had his first game as a 7th grader with Desert Ridge Jr High. They played away against Greenfield Jr High. It was very exciting.... the team was introduced one by one while the cheerleaders made a bridge for them to run through. The coach has taught them manners...when they are introduced they go shake the refs hands and the opposing team coach's hand. Unfortunately they lost the game, but not without tons of effort.
Ellie was glowing....
On Saturday Ellie was in the electric light parade in Phoenix. This year the AZ Pop Warner cheerleaders decided to participate in the parade. It was a chilly night, but I do believe everyone had a good time.

Family Photo Time

Every year we have the daunting task of taking family photos. This year wasn't any different. My goal was to find matching attire without everyone being in the exact same thing. I LOVE the way these photos have turned out. I am always amazed when we get the photos back at how much our children have grown within the year. Last family photo we didn't have any children in braces...this year we have half our children in braces. Ellie and Emersyn are cute as ever. Marc and I didn't too bad of a job smiling if I might add. Thank you to my dear friend who ventures out with our family each year in search of the perfect picture. Amazing we always seem to find not only one amazing picture but too many to choose from. How old will Cameron, Kaelyn, Ellie and Emersyn look next year? Hopefully, Marc and I will only start to look younger :)
