Rattler Basketball

Cameron had his first game as a 7th grader with Desert Ridge Jr High. They played away against Greenfield Jr High. It was very exciting.... the team was introduced one by one while the cheerleaders made a bridge for them to run through. The coach has taught them manners...when they are introduced they go shake the refs hands and the opposing team coach's hand. Unfortunately they lost the game, but not without tons of effort.

Ellie was glowing....

On Saturday Ellie was in the electric light parade in Phoenix. This year the AZ Pop Warner cheerleaders decided to participate in the parade. It was a chilly night, but I do believe everyone had a good time.

Family Photo Time

Every year we have the daunting task of taking family photos. This year wasn't any different. My goal was to find matching attire without everyone being in the exact same thing. I LOVE the way these photos have turned out. I am always amazed when we get the photos back at how much our children have grown within the year. Last family photo we didn't have any children in braces...this year we have half our children in braces. Ellie and Emersyn are cute as ever. Marc and I didn't too bad of a job smiling if I might add. Thank you to my dear friend who ventures out with our family each year in search of the perfect picture. Amazing we always seem to find not only one amazing picture but too many to choose from. How old will Cameron, Kaelyn, Ellie and Emersyn look next year? Hopefully, Marc and I will only start to look younger :)

Going Buggy!!!

In school every year each grade will present a program. When the kids go to music during the day for their "specials" they are taught the songs they are going to be singing. This year Ellie's third grade program was "Going Buggy". Ellie was a black widow spider. It really was a cute program. Ellie did such a great job...I would if we have a future Broadway performer on our hands....?

Happy Halloween

Kaelyn asked if she could have a Halloween party. Well, I was not able to host a full Halloween party but we were able to invite some of our friends over and have fun. Kaelyn invited some friends to trick or treat with. I made some chili, cornbread and baked some pizza (for those who didn't like chili). What a fun Halloween. We can't wait for the gobblins to come out next year :)

Cheer Competition

Viper cheerleaders @ ASU Wells Fargo Arena for the cheer competition. The girls were exhibition and did AWESOME!!!

Softball

As if we didn't have anything going on in our lives Kaelyn decided she wanted to play softball. She has some friends at school that play. Marc and I were hesitant but thought it would be good for Kaelyn. She has a great coach that teaches them to have fun and play hard.
